San Francisco, CA – June 3, 2013 – Resilient Networks Systems, the leader in Trust Management, was named to theRed Herring Top 100 during the annual conference held in Monterey on May 21-23, 2013. The award recognizes the leading private companies in North America, celebrating their innovations and technologies across their respective industries.
“2013 has been a groundbreaking year for us so far. We are now working with a leading IT equipment manufacturer in Silicon Valley, and continuing to execute delivering the healthcare and education solutions awarded by the NSTIC grants,” said Bill Coleman, Chairman and CEO of Resilient. “Resilient is honored to win and be recognized as a leading Silicon Valley technology startup. This accolade is another proof point of our mission to make all network information and services securely discoverable and accessible while maintaining privacy and civil liberties.”
In September of 2012, The U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) awarded $9 million in grants to support the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC). Resilient Network Systems was awarded one of five NSTIC Pilot Program grants that are funding consortiums that will demonstrate innovative identity ecosystem solutions in various market sectors. Resilient is leading 20 organizations to develop two pilots for improving information access and exchange in education and healthcare, by connecting their services on its Trust Network infrastructure.
Resilient’s customers use a neutral peer-to-peer platform to collaborate and share sensitive information securely while maintaining each participant’s organizational governance and policies on the network. Resilient is the first company to solve the Internet’s identity and privacy problems without requiring disclosure of personally identifiable information (PII) while vastly improving security and making sharing of sensitive resources possible and convenient. With proof points in the healthcare, supply chain, education, and government markets, Resilient has developed strategic and collaborative ecosystem partners to implement integrated and innovative solutions on the Trust Network platform.
“In 2013, selecting the Top 100 achievers was by no means a small feat,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “In fact, we had the toughest time in years because so many entrepreneurs have crossed significant milestones so early. But after much thought, rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across North America to the Top 100 Winners. We believe Resilient embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. Resilient should be proud of its accomplishment, as the competition was very strong.”
